Withdrawal Policy
1. Introduction
The "Journal of Management Science Research Review" (JMSRR) is committed to publishing high-quality research that contributes to the advancement of knowledge in the field of management science. We understand that circumstances may arise where authors need to withdraw their manuscript after submission. This policy outlines the process for manuscript withdrawal and the associated consequences.
2. Grounds for Withdrawal
Authors may request to withdraw their manuscript for the following reasons:
- Significant errors or omissions: If the authors discover critical errors or omissions in the manuscript after submission, they may request withdrawal to correct them before resubmitting.
- Ethical concerns: If the authors discover any ethical concerns with their research or the manuscript, they may request withdrawal to address them before resubmitting.
- Duplicate submission: If the manuscript has been inadvertently submitted to JMSRR and another journal concurrently, the authors may request withdrawal from one journal to avoid duplicate publication.
- Change in authorship or funding: If there are significant changes in authorship or funding after submission, the authors may request withdrawal to update the manuscript accordingly before resubmitting.
In addition to the above, JMSRR reserves the right to request or require withdrawal of a manuscript if:
- The manuscript is found to be plagiarized or contain fabricated data.
- The manuscript does not meet the journal's submission guidelines or editorial standards.
- The authors are unable to provide satisfactory responses to reviewers' comments or editorial queries.
3. Withdrawal Process
Authors who wish to withdraw their manuscript should submit a formal request to the JMSRR editorial office by email. The request should clearly state the reason for withdrawal and the manuscript title and reference number.
4. Consequences of Withdrawal
The consequences of withdrawal will vary depending on the stage of the manuscript review process:
- Before peer review: Manuscripts withdrawn before peer review will not be included in the journal's publication record. Authors may resubmit the manuscript after addressing the reasons for withdrawal.
- During peer review: Manuscripts withdrawn during peer review may be included in the journal's publication record with a note indicating that they were withdrawn before a final decision was reached. Authors may request that the reviewers' comments be kept confidential.
- After acceptance: Manuscripts withdrawn after acceptance will not be published in the journal. Authors may request to publish the manuscript elsewhere, but they must acknowledge JMSRR as the initial submission venue.
5. Appeals
Authors who disagree with a decision regarding their withdrawal request may appeal to the Editor-in-Chief. Appeals should be submitted in writing and state the specific grounds for the appeal. The Editor-in-Chief's decision will be final.
