Refund Policy

JMMSRR strives to provide a fair and transparent publication process for authors. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may necessitate a refund request. This policy outlines the conditions under which JMMSRR will consider a refund for submission and processing fees.

Refundable Circumstances:

• Manuscript withdrawal before peer review: Authors may withdraw their manuscript at any time before the peer review process begins. A full refund of the submission fee will be issued.
• Significant delays in the review process: If the review process takes longer than the advertised timeframe due to JMMSRR's fault, authors may be eligible for a partial refund. The amount of the refund will be determined on a case-by-case basis, considering the severity and duration of the delay.
• Technical issues preventing submission: If technical issues on JMMSRR's platform prevent authors from submitting their manuscript, a full refund of the submission fee will be issued.
• Journal closure: In the unlikely event that JMMSRR ceases operation, all unreviewed submissions will receive a full refund.

Non-refundable Circumstances:

• Manuscript withdrawal after peer review: Once a manuscript has entered the peer review process, no refunds will be issued. This includes cases where the manuscript is rejected, revised and resubmitted, or withdrawn due to author decision.
• Unsuccessful publication: Acceptance for publication is not guaranteed, and JMMSRR does not offer refunds for manuscripts that are ultimately rejected.
• Author-initiated delays: JMMSRR will not issue refunds for delays caused by the author, such as late revisions or delayed responses to editor queries.
• Administrative fees: Processing fees associated with open access publication, article processing charges (APCs), or other administrative services are non-refundable.

Procedure for Requesting a Refund:

To request a refund, please contact the JMMSRR editorial office in writing, clearly stating the reason for your request and providing any relevant documentation. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receiving a valid request.
