IMPROVING EDUCATION THROUGH PUBLIC PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS IN PAKISTAN: A SECONDARY EVALUATION OF HANDS WELFARE FOUNDATION’S - EMO SCHOOLS PROJECT, USING PRECEDE-PROCEED FRAMEWORK
Abstract
This study utilizes the PRECEDE-PROCEED framework to evaluate the impact of public health interventions in schools managed through public-private partnerships (PPP) in Pakistan as a part of HANDS Welfare Foundation, EMO School projects. The focus is on analyzing the interventions' effectiveness in improving infrastructure, governance, teacher capacity, and educational outcomes. Employing a quantitative design, the study integrates baseline and end line data, comparative analysis, and inferential statistics (paired t-tests and ANOVA) to assess intervention outcomes. Significant improvements were found in library resources and teacher training. The findings underscore the potential of structured PPP interventions to address educational disparities and contribute to sustainable development goals.
